How to Batch Replace Text in PDF Documents

Here’s how to do it, step by step:

• Open your PDF file in Foxit PDF Editor, click the “Search Box” at the top, and select “Search & Replace”.

• In the pop-up window, type the original text and the new text you want to use, then hit “Replace All”.

• Once finished, it will show you how many places were updated, and you can check the results right away!

What if it’s a scanned PDF? Scanned files can’t be edited directly, but we can fix that first:

• Go to the Convert → Recognize Text → Current File.

• Select the language used in your document, choose Editable Text, and click OK.
